The Preciousness of Pink

What is it about the color pink that emits preciousness?
Is it because it's like a big hug, or
Because it is the color that represents little girls?
Maybe that is why I am saddened about the fact that
I am removing the majority of pink from my Shoppe.

It's simply a business decision as I have to stay with the trends
and what sells, and
preciousness isn't selling.

It doesn't mean I don't still love it *sigh*....
cause I do.

Thanks for stopping by today...
You know I love it when you come.

I'm linking to Beverly's Pink Saturday where PINK is always in.

Pink is just a fabulous colour! Love your pinks!
    Are those ribbons vintage?

  2. I've noticed that pink isn't doing so well for me anymore either. I love it but I've heard customers remark that so and so would be cute in a little girls room. I am now going more to neutrals and whites.

  3. Hi Jana, Congratulations on being accepted as a dealer in the show in Fort Worth. Your booth looks amazing and requires a lot of work. I see so many things that I can remember as a child. Take care and have a wonderful weekend. Your Missouri Friend.

  4. Hi, I hope your name is Jana. I read about you but then saw something about Nettie Jane. I love your pink buttons and ribbons. Your buttons are almost iridescent. Hope you find a home for all of your pink treasures because that is what they are to me too -- I use buttons and ribbon in my art and I'm soft pink is one of my favorite colors. So thanks for sharing them. Blessings Terri www.morningdewdrops.typepad.com

  5. I love pink too but you are right, you gotta go with what is selling!

Is it blue that is selling more? I have seen so much blue everywhere I am wondering if I need to do more things in blue.

    Love,

  7. I love those tassels... they would fit right in in my precious cream and pink living room! It's impossible to predict what sells in my antique booth. I have sold some things I thought would never sell and then things that I personally loved just sat there. Neutrals are probably more the trend right now. I notice it in the blogs too but I buy whatever I love, trend or not!
