Creating My Way Into Oblivion

Aside from painting masses of furniture for the upcoming
June 25 Le' Pre'miere Summer Showcase Sale,
I also like to add some of my own personal "flava" to the event.
That's why I generally take about a week before the date
and
Just create my way to oblivion...or insanity...
Not sure there is much of a difference sometimes.

These little lamp shades top two precious bakelite and glass lamps......
Sold separately or together...you decide.

I'm also doing my best to get a few of the ruffled canvas bags completed....
This would be number 2....,:)
And a really ambitious project on my part are altered trunks.
I hope to have three completed for the day's sale.
This one's theme is "lost love".

I like them to look as though they have been stored away in a dirty attic for years.

The other two will depict a baby theme and also a bridal design.....
or that is the plan :)

There is still alot to do, but I'm having so much fun.
I hope if you are local you can come.....
I promise lots of shade....and cold drinks.

Thanks for stopping by today.
You know I love it when you come.
AND
If this is your first visit and you choose to follow,
Please know I always follow back :)

Stay Cool.

There are wonderful things to see so go on over.

  1. Hi Jana,
I cannot believe the things that you create so abundantly! It would take me forever to create lampshades like yours and treasure boxes, not to mention painting all that furniture. You are amazing!

  6. Hi Jana, You have really been busy. I really like the ruffle bag and your lamp shades. I wish I lived closer just to take a trip down memory lane with some of the things I have seen since visiting your shop. Have a great day. Your New Missouri Friend.
