Some projects just come together.
My odd and unplanned projects are usually because
I just can't bare to throw something out.
And these are a prime example.
Old webbing from an antique chair,
Folded into large size roses.
Surrounded with antique crochet lace....
Tucked inside a beautiful paper cone.
Serving no purpose other than being beautiful......

I find that too,when I am pottering about in my sewing room. I just fiddle and usually like what I make better than planned things. Your little fiddly bit is lovely. I too can't throw things away. In Australia we call Burlap,Hessian or Jute,it's great stuff isn't it?

Very nice, Jana:) I can't seem to throw anything away either. I love the burlap upholstery tape too...and have used it in so many projects:) Your roses and lace are so-o you:)!
