from this to that

This is how it all started...
Two balloon back antique chairs with
tattered needlepoints....
In fact, they are identical chairs,
Just different colored seats.

I love the chairs, but they were dark and dated
and frankly, worn out.
Each chair seat needlepoint was removed for a project later on.

One was painted Tiffany Blue and
a topcoat of dark Briwax was used on the
Wood after it was distressed.....
The seat was covered in an antique English flour sack
I found at the bottom of an auction box I won several
Weeks ago....
While the other chair was painted my new favorite color....
Peanut Butter.
It was also treated with a coat of wax to darken the
Paint and show off the detailing of the wood.

It was given a new seat of old pillow ticking.....

And this would be my next project for Le' Pre'miere
Oh my.
