Several weeks ago I came to the Shoppe
and found this little white table by my front door.
I didn't think anything about it because things
like that happen all the time...
People know I will take cast-offs and bring them back to life.
A couple of days later, one of my regular customers
called to ask if I found HER table.....
was I confused????? just a little.
She said she wanted me to paint it for her and
she had a "vision".
This thing was rough to say the least.
She wanted it a butterscotch color......
But I chose a paint called "peanut butter"....
AND she wanted very simple pink tole roses on the top....
Then down the leg onto the bottom shelf.....
(We also added a drawer where one was missing)
And this is her end result once painted,
distressed, and waxed.
Thanks for stopping by today...
You know I love it when you come
Also, I am joining Beverly at How Sweet The Sound for
Her Pink Saturday .....hop over and enjoy the party...
Looks so beautiful!

Hi Jana, I really like how you painted the table. Adding the drawer back that was missing and the roses added a nice touch. I am catching up with my reading and a little me time tonight. Have a great weekend. A Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeleteHi Jana,
ReplyDeleteI just love the roses painted on the table. It's so pretty. Your client is going to love it.

Stoppin' by from Beverly's. Gorgeous table. The color does remind me of peanut butter. I have acquired an awful green vintage chair that I am going to bring back to life. The dust on the thing must be 4 inches thick. It does have a story though...I'm going to make sure that it gets a makeover to carry on its story. :)

This little table is gorgeous, Jana! I should visit your shop some day (maybe when it cools off). I'm in Garland.
ReplyDeleteActually you could still link up this precious table as the party is still in progress. If not just remember to link up to the Potpourri Friday party next week. I'll be watching for you!
Have a wonderful weekend!
You did a great makeover on that table. You are very creative and talented. I will have to drop by and visit your shop. I live just a few miles from there.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning, Jana,
ReplyDeleteI like the peanut butter paint that you used. And how you found a drawer that fits amazes me!
Enjoy the Holiday Weekend. ~Natalie
