~An "At Home" White Wednesday~

People come into my shoppe, and after they tell me they want to live here, most ask if my home is decorated in the same style as my store......

although it wasn't always, it has certainly evolved into that as I find it so comfortable and certainly forgiving, as everything is already "old".

This is a shot of one of my guest bedrooms & bath......once my daughter's room.

I am at home, like at the shoppe, determined to get as much in there as I possibly can.......proving my mantra that more is not enough :)

There are a few crooked pictures as it wasn't staged, just "snapped" on my way out the door this morning.

And, of course, I have to share my alabaster lamps....

I think I counted six in the room and bathroom.....

I just adore them.

Of course, these aren't white, but are inside the bedroom closet.....

I have been collecting them for years and years just because of their sweetness.

So, for those of you that have asked, my shoppe is just an extension of my home.

Angels Among Us.....

I am a firm believer there are truly angels among us.....

Sometimes in living form being special friends that lift us when we are down, or earthbound spirits that somehow guide us through the tough times in our life.

I believe in both of these, so I always have faith. I know there will always be bad things that happen to good people, and good things that happen to bad people, but that in the end,

What goes around always comes around.

I somehow started acquiring all of my angels when I was going through breast cancer.

Just having them around me, fighting that horrible disease, made me feel better.

Now, as I go through other challenges in my life,

I still find comfort in having them there.

These girls sit perched around my bedroom reminding me there are good people in this world.
A piece from my sweet man's Grandmother's house. I've always though she was holding all my worries and pain, letting me rest peacefully.
With two hung over the door keeping us safe.

All of these angel lamps are in our bedroom,

being the last thing I see each night as I switch off the light.

And outside, I find I have just as many angels as well.

This beautiful fountain was given to me by my sweet man.

How can he know me so well. There are also other little girls in and around the yard.....

..they make me smile.

And my precious, precious angel, and heartbeat,

Miss Sterling.......

With her in my life, All things are possible.

And I am reminded what really matters in life.

I hope that whatever troubling things you have in your life can somehow be lifted today.
There are truly angels among us, and it is up to the individual to have enough faith to know that things will always get better.....

If only we believe.
